Using eBooks

There are several platforms that you may use to access our eBooks.

The Library currently provides access to over 10,000 eBooks and is regularly adding more. You can access an eBook as a result of searching the Library Catalogue or, search the different eBook platform directly by clicking on A-Z eresources from the Library HomePage.

You must have a Lincoln College ID to use this service. You will be required to sign in using Shibboleth authentication and to enter your Student ID and password whether you are on or off campus.

Each eBook platform provides you with the opportunity to read online or download, which also includes built in accessibility features. They all provide similar tools for you to browse through a chapter, scroll through pages or go to a specific page in a book. You also can add notes and annotations to a page or chapter.

Copying and printing of pages are allowed, but these will be restricted due to the copyright regulations.

Downloading of eBooks is permitted and terms of loan does vary per book and provider. The College does not support the software required to download eBooks on campus, however you can download these onto your own device, providing you have the appropriate software installed.
