  • We have a number of different study areas to support your learning needs at all our Libraries
  • Some Libraries have specific rooms or study pods that are bookable
  • You are advised to book in advance as these are very popular
  • You can book at any Help Desk or by phone

Library Rules

The Library is a shared study space, so please observe some simple rules to respect the learning environment:

When using the Library:

  • Always wear your lanyard and have your student ID card clearly displayed
  • Treat all staff and students with respect
  • Report any vandalism to a member of staff
  • Turn your mobile phone to silent
  • Drinks with lids only please
  • Keep walkways and access areas clear
  • Do not eat or bring food into the Library
  • Do not use offensive language
  • Do not put your feet on the furniture
  • Do not use PCs for games or social networking
  • Do not have loud discussions that may disturb others
