Mental Health and Wellbeing

At Lincoln College we believe that everyone's Mental Health and Wellbeing is just as important as their Physical Health. Having good Mental Health and Wellbeing will enable you to be successful in your studies and achieve your desired outcomes in life.

We can provide a range of services to support your Mental Health and Wellbeing, including Counsellors, Mental Health Coordinators, Youth and Wellbeing Advisors and the Personal Empowerment Programme.

You can access immediate support through the Drop In Service, by contacting the Safeguarding team or by accessing the Student Wellbeing Hub and speaking to a member of the team.

Personal Empowerment Programme

The Personal Empowerment Programme is delivered by the Youth and Wellbeing Team twice a week in the Student Wellbeing Hub.

During these sessions, you can learn about many topics which will give you skills for life in subjects which are not covered in the academic areas.

Topics include:

  • Resilience
  • Safeguarding
  • Domestic Violence
  • Sexual Health
  • Healthy Relationships
  • Mental Health
  • Gambling and Gaming
  • LGBTQ+
  • Healthy Lifestyles

Everyone is welcomed and encouraged to attend these sessions.
