Academic Year 2023/2024 - Will I have to pay for fees?

If you are aged 16 to 18 years-old, a 19+ continuer or up to 25 years-old if you have an Education, Health and Care Plan you will not usually need to pay course fees.

Learners aged 19 or over

If you're aged 19 or over, course fees will differ depending on your course, age, prior learning, and your personal circumstances

If you are undertaking a course up to and including Full Level 2, you may be entitled to receive Fee Remission through the Lincoln College Fee Remission Guide.

If you are undertaking a Further Education funded course at Level 3 you may be entitled to receive Fee Remission if:

• You are aged 19-23 at the start of your course and studying a first Full Level 3 qualification
• You are aged 19+ at the start of your course undertaking a qualification identified as part of Free Courses For Jobs offer. To receive this fee remission you must meet the eligibility criteria for Fee Remission through the Lincoln College Fee Remission Guide and be enrolling on a qualification listed in the Education Skills Funding Agency’s (EFSA) Free Course for Jobs offer 2023/2024.

If you are aged 19-23 and have previously achieved a Full Level 3 or aged 24 or above and undertaking a course that is not included in the Free Courses For Jobs offer, or undertaking a Further Education funded course at level 4,5 or 6 you can get help toward course fees through the Advanced Learner Loan scheme.
