To receive support eligible students must meet the ESFA eligibility criteria and be in receipt of one of the benefits below:
If you do not receive any of the benefits shown above you may qualify for help with course related costs and travel costs if you:
live with your parents, do not receive benefits, and your gross income is less than £15,000 per year, or
live independently as a single person, do not receive benefits and your gross income is less than £30,000 per year, or
live with a partner, do not receive benefits and your gross household income is less than £45,000 per year.
You (and where applicable your partner) may be required to sign an income/savings and investments declaration and may also be requested to provide further evidence e.g. a bank statement.
Please note, support will not be given if any of the evidence submitted shows that there is not a financial need or savings and/or any Investments exceed £16,000.

To prevent your application being delayed please ensure you upload all of the requested financial information, these can be PDF's, photographs or screenshots. We will let you know by email/letter within 10 working days (15 days during Autumn Term) whether or not your application has been successful or if we need further evidence.
If your application is unsuccessful we will email you and let you know the reason why. If you believe the decision made not to support your application is incorrect you can appeal in writing to the Financial Support Team Leader, Student Services, Lincoln College, Monks Road, Lincoln, LN2 5HQ
These Funds are made available through either the Department for Education (DfE) or The East Midlands Combinded County Authority (EMCCA) and are not available to learners on Full Cost courses, Higher Education courses, Apprenticeships or any waged training undertaken. Other rules and regulations apply, including residency criteria.
If you are 19+ and have chosen to fund your course by an Advanced Learner Loan (ALL), we need confirmation from Student Finance England that you have successfully applied for an Advanced Learner Loan and have also had your National Insurance Number verified by them before we are able to make payments to you.
