16-17 Saver Rail Card - Get 50% off rail travel with a 16-17 Saver

If you’re aged 16 or 17, you’re eligible!

The 16-17 Saver is valid for one year or until your 18th birthday, whichever comes first. 
 
If you buy a season ticket before your 16-17 Saver expires, you can keep using the Season ticket for up to four months after the expiry. The two expiry dates are shown on your 16-17 Saver.

You'll need to have the following when you apply: Evidence of age - a valid UK driving license, passport or national ID card A good quality digital passport-style photo of you and a Debit or Credit Card for payment
 
If you don't have any of the above forms of ID, you can upload a scan of your birth certificate or a Government-approved PASS card instead. Please note that applications using these forms of ID will take a little longer to process.

If you experience any issues during your online application, you can call the customer support team on 0345 301 1656 for help. They are available from 7AM to 10PM every day of the year (except Christmas day).

 If you’re aged 16 or 17, you can now enjoy 50% off standard Anytime, Off-Peak, Advance and Season tickets, helping you save money on trips into town, days out to the coast, travel to college or weekend festivals – as many times as you like.
 
A 16-17 Saver is just £35 and is valid for one year or until your 18th birthday, whichever comes first.
